42-Year-Old Shoots Ex at Tavern, Wife in Her Sleep

An early hours of Tuesday, August 5, in Eastern Cape, South Africa, as one man went on a killing spree, first took out his 22-year-old ex-girlfriend, then went home and shot his 49-year-old wife while she was sleeping. Madness.

Police say the man is 42 years old and still on the run. According to Brigadier Nobuntu Gantana, the guy first showed up at a tavern in Chithwayo, opened fire on his ex, and left her for dead. But he didn’t stop there, he carried the same violence home to Unity Park and shot his wife in her sleep.

He then ran off in the family car, but police later found the vehicle abandoned. For now, they don’t know why he did it, no clear motive yet but investigations are still on.
