A young Nigerian man has taken to social media to vent his frustration after discovering the tap water in his high-end Lekki apartment is brown and dirty—despite paying a whopping 4 million naira in rent!
In a now-viral video posted on X (formerly Twitter), the tenant showed the discolored water flowing straight from the tap in his bathroom. The video clearly reveals murky, brownish water—far from what you’d expect in a luxury apartment in one of Lagos’ most expensive areas.

He captioned the video saying, “See house of 4 million naira, see water. The landlord doesn’t want to refund my money now that I want to pack out.”
