Blessing Okoro Leaves Instagram Amid Cancer Claim Controversy

Controversial internet personality Blessing Okoro, widely known as “CEO,” has gone off Instagram following fresh scrutiny over her cancer claims.

The backlash followed her April 4 appearance on Arise TV, where she faced tough questioning during a live interview.

Medical doctor Adefunke Arowolo challenged her statements, noting inconsistencies and dismissing them as lacking medical validity.

She also disclosed that she contacted the pathologist linked to the report presented by Blessing. According to her, the doctor—based in Asaba—denied any connection to the document and stated he had not been to Enugu in recent times.

“I know that for an absolute fact,” she said.

As the discussion progressed, Blessing appeared unsettled. It also emerged that the document shown on air matches one already circulating online, despite her earlier denial of sharing it.

The report has sparked allegations that it originally belonged to another patient, with claims that a family had threatened legal action over possible misuse.

Following the interview, public reaction intensified, with calls for accountability over alleged deception and fundraising claims. Shortly after, Blessing’s Instagram account was deactivated.
