That’s barely two months🤷

In a recent interview with DJ Bootleg Kev on Real 92.3 in Los Angeles, the Basketball Wives star opened up about the unexpected turn her relationship took. She revealed they got married on April 5th and officially separated on May 28th.

“I followed my heart, and that’s more than what most people can say in this world,” the 33-year-old said. “I have no shame in that.”

Renner made it clear that she has no regrets about the brief union, saying the experience helped her reconnect with herself. She added, “The divorce wasn’t planned, but I don’t feel like it’s a sucky situation because what is meant to be is always going to be. I gave 100 percent [in the marriage]. All is well.”

As of now, Kevin Gates has not made any public statements about the split.

Renner, who is a devout Muslim, also noted that she’s currently observing a 90-day reconciliation period in accordance with Islamic law. This is a time for reflection and possible resolution, though it’s not yet clear whether the couple will consider getting back together.
