Brother Demands ₦500k–₦1m After Sister Sends ₦50k for Sick Wife (Video)

She said what annoyed her the most wasn’t even the request, it was her brother’s reaction.

According to her, he called to say his wife was sick and needed to be rushed to the hospital. Out of concern, she immediately sent him ₦50k, thinking it would at least help them start something.

Instead of telling her “thank you,” the guy complained. He said the money was too small and that, because she’s “abroad,” he was expecting something in the range of ₦500k to ₦1m.

Meanwhile, the reality he doesn’t see is very different. She’s in Egypt working as a househelp, earning about ₦230k a month, and sleeping in the kitchen of the house she serves in. There’s no luxury, no comfort, nothing close to the kind of life people imagine when they hear “I’m overseas.”

To her, the whole situation just showed how disconnected people can be from someone else’s real struggle.
