Why I Blocked My Friend and Her Brother –  A Woman Reveals

A woman has shared the reasons behind her decision to block both her friend and her friend’s brother.

The young lady explained that her female friend had tried to set her up with her brother, despite knowing he was engaged and set to be married in two months. This incident reportedly occurred in November last year (2024).

When she discovered the situation, she became angry and decided to cut ties with both her friend and her brother.

Sharing her story on her X account, she tweeted:

“This female friend of mine, her brother wanted to date me back in November. I wasn’t interested in him, and now he just posted his wife on his WhatsApp status. He got married yesterday, and my friend posted pictures of both of them too.

“No questions asked, I blocked my friend and her brother.

“She knew he had a fiancée but was still pushing me to date her brother, who’s a habitual cheater.

‘ègbè eluigwe ga-agba unu abụọ ọkụ’ (thunder will strike you both).”
