Fulham Eyes Samuel Chukwueze as Adama Traoré’s Possible Replacement
Fulham are keeping eye on Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze as a potential replacement for Adama Traoré, who’s reportedly edging closer to a move to Nottingham Forest this summer.
According to reports from Calciomercato, the Cottagers have rekindled their interest in Chukwueze after previously being linked with him during the January window. The 26-year-old joined AC Milan from Villarreal in 2023 but hasn’t quite found his feet in Italy. Since arriving in Serie A, he’s managed eight goals and six assists in 69 appearances across all competitions — a return that’s raised questions about his fit at the San Siro.
Milan are said to be open to offers and could be willing to part ways with the winger for a fee in the region of €15 to €20 million. Chukwueze, a former U-17 World Cup winner with Nigeria and a regular for the Super Eagles, may now be considering a fresh start — and Fulham could offer the kind of environment he needs to bounce back.
A return to top-flight English football might just be the move that reignites his form and puts him back in the spotlight.
