Ghana Police Arrest Woman in Viral Assault Video
A disturbing video of a woman attacking a man has finally led to an arrest, as the Ghana Police Service confirms picking up the woman seen in the clip.
She was arrested on Wednesday, November 27, 2025, by the IGP’s Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team.
The woman, identified as Esther Nana Afia Sarfowaa, was found at Subriso in the Ahafo Ano North Constituency of the Ashanti Region.
Another person tied to the incident, Stephen Ofori, was also arrested later at Nkawie.
Police say the case isn’t closed yet. Three more people connected to the assault are still being traced, and officers are actively trying to pick them up.
The service has assured the public that everyone involved in the attack will eventually face the law.
