IDF Carries Out Rescue and Defense Operations After Missile Attacks from Iran

Israel is currently facing ongoing missile and drone attacks believed to be launched from Iran. In response, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have quickly deployed rescue and defense teams across different parts of the country.

The IDF’s Oketz canine unit has been helping to rescue people trapped under debris at missile impact sites. These dogs are specially trained to find people under rubble, and the team includes both male and female soldiers. Their work has helped save lives in areas badly affected by the attacks.

Also supporting the rescue efforts is the IDF’s LOTAR counter-terrorism school. They have sent teams of rescue instructors trained in climbing and rappelling to the sites. These teams have been using drones to scan damaged buildings and provide important information to Home Front Command rescue teams.

The Home Front Command has been working at several locations, helping to rescue civilians and recover the bodies of those killed in the attacks.

At the same time, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) has been active in the air, shooting down several drones heading toward northern Israel. One of these drones was intercepted over the Golan Heights. Sirens were heard in many communities during these incidents to alert civilians.

The IDF also confirmed that a number of ballistic missiles were launched from Iran earlier today. As a result, sirens were sounded in central Israel and the Beersheba area in the south. Residents were told to go to bomb shelters and stay there until further notice.

So far, there are no reports of missile strikes in major cities or of serious injuries. According to Magen David Adom, one missile landed in an open area in the south, causing no damage or casualties.

Israel’s military continues to stay alert, working to protect civilians and respond to any further attacks.
