Israel Maintains Nationwide Restrictions as Iran Continues Missile Attacks
The Israel Defense Forces Home Front Command has announced that nationwide safety restrictions will remain in place as the conflict with Iran continues and ballistic missile attacks persist.
Following a new security assessment, the Home Front Command said the current emergency guidelines will stay in effect until Saturday at 8 p.m., when another evaluation will determine whether adjustments are needed.
Under the existing measures, educational activities across the country remain suspended, except for a few specific exceptions. Public gatherings are limited to a maximum of 50 people, provided that a protected shelter can be reached quickly if alarms sound. Workplaces are allowed to operate under the same safety conditions.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military reported that a ballistic missile launched from Iran in the latest attack on northern Israel landed in an open area. Initial assessments indicate no injuries were recorded. The strike was part of a series of overnight attacks, marking the tenth missile launch since midnight, with warning sirens activated in the Western Galilee.
In response, the Israeli Air Force carried out a large wave of airstrikes targeting military facilities inside Iran. According to the military, dozens of fighter jets dropped more than 170 bombs on strategic targets located in Tehran, Isfahan, and Shiraz.
Among the targets struck was a headquarters belonging to the IRGC Quds Force in Tehran. Additional strikes reportedly hit a surface-to-air missile production and storage facility, as well as multiple air defense systems in Isfahan. Other military infrastructure was also targeted in Shiraz in southern Iran.
Israeli officials said the strikes represent a new phase of the war, aimed at weakening key military capabilities and infrastructure linked to what they described as the “core systems” supporting Iran’s operations.
The situation remains highly volatile as both sides continue military operations across the region.
