Israel Orders Evacuation in Tyre as Hezbollah Fires Rockets, Drones
The Israel Defense Forces on Tuesday issued an evacuation warning for residents of Tyre and surrounding villages and refugee camps, signaling imminent strikes on Hezbollah positions.
The warning came as Hezbollah launched a coordinated हमला involving dozens of rockets and five drones toward northern Israel. The military said all drones were intercepted, while most rockets were either shot down or landed in open areas.
A residential building was damaged in Karmiel, though officials said it remains unclear whether the impact was direct or caused by debris from interceptions. No injuries were reported.
Sirens sounded across the Galilee, including Kiryat Shmona and nearby communities, as well as parts of the northern West Bank, as additional rockets were fired.
In response, the Israeli military said it struck Hezbollah rocket-launching squads and infrastructure across Lebanon, targeting both active launch sites and operatives involved in the attacks.
At the same time, Israel said it detected a ballistic missile launch from Iran, with sirens expected in southern Israel. Initial assessments indicate the missile was intercepted, with no casualties reported.
The Israeli Air Force has since launched a new wave of strikes aimed at preventing further attacks, as tensions escalate on multiple fronts.
