Mohbad’s Father Seeks DNA Test Before Burial, Makes Public Appeal

The father of late singer Mohbad has made another emotional appeal, asking for support as he tries to move forward with his son’s burial.

In a video circulating online, he explained that the delay is tied to his insistence on carrying out a DNA test to confirm the paternity of his grandson. According to him, that step is necessary before he can finally lay his son to rest.

He said he has tried several ways to get attention on the matter, including reaching out to Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but nothing has come out of it so far.

The grieving father admitted that the situation has been difficult, as he wants closure but feels held back without proper confirmation.

“I’m pleading to the entire world, not just Lagos, for help,” he said. “I need to do the DNA test before I bury my son. If I go ahead now, how will I carry it out later? I want to be sure about my grandchild.”

Since Mohbad’s death, questions around what really happened have remained unanswered, with different theories still circulating.

The issue of the child’s DNA has also kept people talking, especially as it continues to delay the burial.
