Tech enthusiasts may have to wait a little longer for the official launch of the Oppo Reno 15 series, but early leaks suggest the upcoming models will pack a serious punch.

Following last month’s launch of the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro in China, with global rollout now underway fresh information has emerged, hinting at significant upgrades in the next generation.

According to popular tipster, Digital Chat Station, the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro are already undergoing testing. Cited by GSMArena, the leak reveals that both models are expected to sport massive 200MP main cameras, a huge jump from the 50MP sensors on the current Reno 14 line-up.

Additionally, the Reno 15 series is said to retain the periscope telephoto lens found on the Reno 14 and 14 Pro.

Another major change is in the display sizes. The standard Reno 15 may feature a 6.3-inch screen, making it more compact compared to the Reno 14’s 6.59-inch display. Meanwhile, the Reno 15 Pro could launch with a 6.78-inch display, slightly smaller than the Reno 14 Pro’s 6.83-inch screen.

Oppo is also reportedly considering flagship-level hardware for the Reno 15 duo. Although exact specifications are still under wraps, rumours point to features like wireless charging and a premium metal frame design.

The Reno 15 series is still months away from launch, but expectations are high. Fans will be watching closely for official confirmation in the coming weeks.
