Regina Daniels Takes Drug Test in UK to Clear Drug Allegations
Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has taken a drug test in the United Kingdom to clear her name following allegations that she is a drug addict.
The claims were made by her ex-husband, Ned Nwoko, who accused the actress of drug abuse, describing it as one of the major issues that affected their marriage. Regina has repeatedly denied the allegation.
To address the accusations directly, Regina, who is currently in the UK, visited a hospital where she underwent a drug screening test. In a video shared online, a hospital staff member could be seen handing her the result and confirming that she tested completely negative. The emotional moment showed Regina breaking down in tears after receiving the result.
Speaking in the video, Regina said she chose to take the drug test primarily for the sake of her children. She maintained that she has never taken hard drugs, adding that the only substance she had ever used in the past was ecstasy, also known as Molly. She did not explain the circumstances surrounding its use. The actress also revealed that she plans to take legal action at the appropriate time over the damaging allegations made against her.
While posting the video on her Instagram page, Regina shared a deeply personal message reflecting on the past few months of her life. She described the period as emotionally heavy and life-changing, noting that everything she once knew felt like it was falling apart.
Despite the challenges, she said she survived the difficult phase because of the love, support, patience, and understanding she received from her family, friends, and members of the public. She explained that she took the test not just to clear her name, but out of respect for those who stood by her and those who look up to her, stressing that integrity, accountability, and peace of mind matter.
Regina addressed the widespread claim labeling her a drug addict, saying she had to pause and reflect deeply, even questioning herself before realizing that people often project their fears and negativity onto others. She stressed that public opinion does not define her, adding that she has chosen to create her own narrative rather than allow others to label her.
The actress described the current phase of her life as one focused on self-discovery, personal growth, and becoming more intentional about who she is and where she is going. She expressed gratitude to God for grace and strength, saying she is still standing, still growing, and only just getting started.
She ended her message on a hopeful note, wishing her followers a happy new year and affirming that she is moving forward.
