Skales Finds Love Again: Meet Model Shauney Monae

It looks like Nigerian singer Skales has moved on from his marriage and found love again. Earlier today, August 23, he went on Instagram to show off a new woman in his life, model Shauney Monae.

In his post, Skales described her as his “favourite song and guiding light” and made it clear how much he values the way she loves him. He shared their picture on her birthday and used the moment to express what she truly means to him.

Part of his message read: “The way you love, the way you care, the way you teach me how to live. So here’s to you, the one I adore, my heart, my muse, my greatest friend.”

This new relationship comes after a long and complicated history with his wife Precious Raoul. The pair tied the knot back in September 2021, and by their first anniversary in 2022, Skales was full of praise, calling the marriage a blessing and even sharing clips from their wedding day to celebrate.

But things took a different turn just months later. In November 2022, while Precious was pregnant with their daughter, Skales released a diss track aimed at her. He accused her of hypocrisy after she posted a tribute to his late mother and even went as far as calling her “the devil,” saying she didn’t show care for his mother while she was alive.

By March 2023, after the birth of their daughter, his tone shifted. He publicly apologised to Precious on her birthday, writing that he loved, respected, and cared for her, and promised to be better.

Now, fast-forward to August 2025, it’s clear that the marriage has finally come to an end. With Shauney Monae by his side, Skales seems ready to start a new chapter and leave the past behind.
