VeryDarkMan Files Petition Against Blessing Okoro Over Cancer Claim Controversy
Legal trouble may be on the horizon for Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, after Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan stepped in over her recent cancer claims.
In a video shared online, VeryDarkMan said he has already filed a petition, accusing her of deceiving the public to collect money. He added that the matter is now being handled by the authorities, who have begun looking into it.
The controversy started when Blessing CEO announced that she had stage 4 breast cancer. The news quickly gained attention, especially after she showed up with a shaved head and asked for financial support for treatment.

As people sent in money, doubts began to grow. Many questioned her story and asked for proof of her diagnosis, which pushed her into granting an interview that only made the situation more confusing.
Things took a different turn when she later claimed she does not have cancer, describing everything as a mix-up. Despite that, she maintained that she wouldn’t return the money given to her.
That decision triggered backlash, with some of those who contributed feeling misled. VeryDarkMan is now one of the voices taking it beyond social media, choosing to handle it through legal means.
Since then, reactions have continued to pour in, with Nigerians divided over the entire situation.
