I have Never Said I Love You – Falz Opens Up About Romance
Nigerian entertainer Folarin Falana, widely recognized as Falz, has shared insights into his personal life, revealing that he has never gone through heartbreak.
Appearing on the first live episode of the WithChude podcast, hosted by Chude Jideonwo, Falz spoke openly about his romantic journey, explaining that he tends to keep his emotions guarded in relationships.
When questioned about ever having his heart broken, Falz answered with a metaphor:
“I have never experienced heartbreak. If you don’t step into water, can you drown? I’ve never really given my heart enough to be broken. I’ve only shared little pieces of it.”
He added that while he is emotionally capable and affectionate, he has never fully declared romantic love.
“Romantically, I’ve never told anyone ‘I love you.’ That doesn’t mean I lack feelings — don’t get it wrong. I’ve said things like ‘I really, really like you,’ but I’ve never said ‘I’m in love with you.’”
Falz’s open remarks sparked varied responses online, with many applauding his honesty and others resonating with his cautious approach to relationships.
